What love does to your diet
I have heard that love makes you fat… Ah! But gaining weight for the sake of your love is quite reasonable. Studies after studies have demoed that an individual is more prone to weight gain when in a relationship.
In the first few weeks of your relationship, it is very common to shed few pounds- appetite-inhibiting adrenaline is pumping and your will-power is in high gear (probably you wanna look good for your guy!) Brian Wansink, a renowned author, has said- “ when you eat with someone you love, you consume 35 percent more food.” Also, when you are in the happy throes of love, you desire to spend or rather do spend lots of time staring at each other across the dining table. When you wish to make your date last longer, then most of the times you end up ordering crème brulee.
As your love grows further, you start gaining weight. In a romantic date, you wish to sip some wine or champagne….right? Unfortunately, the drink adds calories and also make you prone to late-night eating. On top of this, you like to skip your 6 a.m. Aerobic class when there’s an adorable guy next to you in bed! To spice up your love life, you order desserts or ice-creams and wish to enjoy it with each other(rather, lick it from each others lips!) Girls, desserts and ice-creams put on weight! But you just can’t resist the hot chocolate dessert or any other dessert to be shared with your sweetie. And what better way to pep up your love than by cuddling up on the couch with your guy…..and a scoop of ice-cream?
Well, if you wish to sizzle your romance, do not worry about your cellulite-heavy body! Enjoy eating with your love!! Let romance decide your diet!!!
